Six Women. Six Yeses. Here’s the Honest Truth About Where We Stand.

This month, we’re doing something a little different—giving you a real look at where The Aziza Project stands financially, and what we need to keep going.

💜 Small but Mighty: Our Financial Story
Since January 2023, here’s what your support has built:

$12,507.91 raised in direct donations
+ more than $6,500 in matching funds from a sister organization
$8,195.13 put directly into client funding

That’s about 65 cents of every dollar we’ve raised ourselves going straight to clients. We think you deserve to know that.
The rest covers ongoing costs: legal work to protect our clients’ sensitive information (largely behind us now), website and email hosting, and fees tied to every dollar raised—our fiscal sponsor takes 10% of net donations, and our Executive Director receives a 5% stipend. We run lean by design.

🎉 A milestone: 2025 was the first year we spent more on programs than on startup and operations. We’re not looking back.

🩺 Six Clients. Six Times We Said Yes.
In February, we committed $630 to help a client continue six months of pelvic floor physical therapy—care that’s often life-changing and rarely fully covered by insurance.
This month, we approved our sixth client for funding toward a new patient appointment with Dr. Corey Babb, one of the world’s leading specialists in gynecologic pain. It takes $750 raised to put $600 toward her appointment. We did that.
When we told her, she said: “Wow, thank you so much for this opportunity! I’m so grateful.”

💜 Why We’re Asking
After funding Client #6, our virtual consultation, travel, and in-person appointment funds are empty. Our PT fund carries our current client through July. After that, it’s gone too.

If someone applied for help today, we’d have nothing to give her.

At our current funding level, it takes about three months to save up enough to fund a single new patient appointment—someone’s first hour of hope. One hour with a doctor who believes her, understands her condition, and can finally offer a real path to healing. That appointment costs $600. We want to be able to say yes faster than once a quarter.

Our 2026 goal: grow monthly giving from ~$275 to $1,000/month. We’re $725 away. With our 75/25 programs-to-operations split, every $750 raised puts $600 directly into a client’s care—and at $1,000/month, we could fund a client’s virtual consultation, travel, hotel, and new patient appointment every quarter, with something left toward treatment. That’s a complete first step toward healing, four times a year.

We fundraise with Zeffy, which means 100% of your donation goes directly to our mission—nothing skimmed off for processing fees.
👉 Become a monthly donor — even $7 or $10/month brings us closer to the next yes.
