I had my virtual consultation with Dr. Babb today. Although I was extremely nervous going into the appointment, I left feeling a sense of relief and hope.
Erica* hopes to see Dr. Babb, at Haven Center, whose expertise and compassion she trusts, to get a second opinion for a recent diagnosis she believes is incorrect. She’s seeking a healthcare provider who listens, answers questions without rushing, and is honest about what they can and cannot treat.
Through all of this, Erica has leaned on her husband for support. His love and reassurance have been a lifeline, even though support alone can’t relieve the pain.

Her symptoms have worsened pre-existing anxiety, depression, and obsessive tendencies, making it hard to stay productive at home or at work. Intimacy with her husband has been challenging, and the financial burden of consulting multiple specialists—many of whom don’t accept insurance and require travel—has added another layer of stress.
